NZMM: Zowie, Annah Mac & Late Nyte Hype
The kiwi singer who has just released her debut album ‘Love Demolition’ has had Perez Hilton singing her praises ever since the Celebrity Blogger named her as one of the Top 5 artists to watch for 2011. The songstress, who used to be known as ‘Bionic Pixie’ has been taking the music world by storm with her upbeat, dance tracks. The Girls In Stilettos singer recently went on her own NZ tour as well as supporting One Direction while the boys were in town. Her debut album “Little Strangers” was released late last year and has the hit singles “Celia” and “Girl In Stilettos”. Annah has been on the music radar since she was young. She won the Smokefree Rockquest Female Musician Award and a scholarship that took her to Nashville as well as opening for Kelly Clarkson while in NZ, all before she blew out her eighteenth birthday candles. These kiwi lads stormed onto the music scene with their catchy hit “So High”. The 4-piece band is made up of members from numerous different groups which makes for a great musical collaboration.
