Reader Review: Surprises with Lumia 800
When I first received the Nokia Lumia 800, I instantly noticed how sleek and sophisticated the mobile looked. I couldn't help but admire the pristine finish of my new phone.
With this mobile, I found there were a few requirements. Such as creating a Zune account (for the ability to add music and videos). But once I had completed these few steps, I finally synchronised all my favourite social networking sites to the phone. I could not get over how easily it was to update all my friends and followers from the palm of my hand.
I had never owned a Windows phone before, so I was intrigued to see what type of 'Apps' were available to me. It was very easy searching for applications, as all the games and other accessories were either categorised or simply found with the use of the search bar. I love my daily dose of entertainment, so automatically I found myself downloading the free E! channel online app. I also can never get enough of the game Paper Flick. Though I've heard compared to other mobile phones, the apps available are limited, I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of options I had to choose from. Watch my video:
I'm not sure if it's just me, but I was terrified of what would happen if I were to drop this precious touch screen phone. So luckily it came with a protective matte black case, as well as a pair of compact earphones.
First impressions are almost impossible to reverse or undo. However so far, surprisingly, there's nothing for Nokia to change.
