Movie Review: The Iron Lady

Following the story of Margaret Thatcher who smashed through the barriers of gender and class to be heard in a male-dominated world. The story concerns power and the price that is paid for power, and is a surprising and insightful portrait of an extraordinary and complex woman.

Meryl Streep does an outstanding job. This particular film had me in tears as a few points raised hit home. Not often a film will emotionally draw me in like this and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

We would recommend this film. If you are an ambitious female or have an interest in History or politics we think you will enjoy this film.
