Kimberley’s Blog: Beach fun in the sun

Hey guys, I have had a pretty full on 24 hours.

I had a really big audition for a lead in one of the most anticipated pilots to come out this season which I was so excited about. I did a lot of preparation so I am hoping to hear back over the next week if I make it to the next level of the auditions.

I also found out I missed out on one of the roles that was down to me and three others, in a show that is really big over here. I was a little bit gutted because I really had little doubt in mind that I wouldn’t get it. I felt so confident in it. However that is the way it goes out here, you can do all you can and still not be quite right. It was a great process though, meeting the producers and working on the scenes. I loved it and I am so grateful for the experience and proud I got so far for such a big role.

To shake off the day I joined my good friends Katie, Erika and Brittany to watch a sketch comedy show. Oh wow. I was impressed. I literately had a sore stomach from laughing so much.

Today we welcomed the weekend with a fitness class, lunch and lay on the beach down in Huntington (about an hour south of where I live). The weather has been so amazing; I cannot believe it is winter!
