Kimberley's Blog: New York fun

NYC is a super cool city #Fact!

I have my first audition tomorrow so the past couple of days have been spent taking in the sights.

I went down town to the lower West side to meet up with the amazing Derek Handley and to see the Soccer final. That part of town is very “cool” lots of cute and quirky cafes and restaurants and some great shops too. If only I had a house and millions of dollars. I saw some amazing furniture and cute little purely decorative goodies for a super cool house, if I had one!

Next we walked along an abandoned railway track that had been converted into a garden for the public to enjoy. There were some cool art instillations and food stalls along the way, which meant many stops for food or photo opportunities!

I don’t think I have fully adjusted to the NYC time zone yet. Going to bed around 2am and waking up at 10 or 11am, which for me is super late!

We hired a car and drove into Jersey to visit the outlet mall yesterday. I managed to refrain from spending up large, but did enjoy a brief visit to Jimmy Choo just to try on a few pairs of shoes for fun!

I’m off to see Norah Jones perform in Central Park today and then back to my room to make sure I am 100% prepared for my audition tomorrow.

Hope you are all well and are safe. I know the weather in NZ hasn’t been so great!

Sending love Kimberley xx
