Kimberley's Blog: TESS fun

Hey team, I had such a cool day yesterday! I was filming for The Erin Simpson Show and honestly had such a blast.

My first story I filmed was at the civic. I got a sneak peak behind the scenes of the musical extravaganza Jersey Boys. The very talented Vince Harder showed me around and dished all the secrets on how the show is put together. Very cool!

Next up, I went to the CanTeen building in Auckland CBD and met some amazing young people who are taking DJ lessons. Once a month, well known NZ DJ’s come and scratch for the CanTeen members and their friends. It was an amazing night. The DJ program is very cool and the members have already learnt so much in the past few months, I am excited to see where they will take their skills beyond the program.

I gave it a go and realized that I should probably stick to acting haha but it really was so much fun, I hope I get the opportunity to try it again soon.
