Kimberley's Blog: My weekend activities
Hey Team, Hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Firstly, Happy Birthday to my amazing boyfriend Mark. Follow him on Twitter.
I have spent most of the weekend learning my auditions for this week. There is no dancing but one of them does require a few stunts so I am going to have to put in some time to rehearse these tomorrow.
I celebrated my friend Celine’s birthday at a Speak Easy in Hollywood. I had never been to one before. Essentially it is a bar that is hidden. To get in we had to walk through a wardrobe! So cool. There was live music and burlesque dancers and we definitely got a little snap happy, taking over one hundred photos within an hour. Spot the tourists!
We kicked off the weekend with a trip to iHop. Pancakes are by far my favourite food in the world. So, with National Pancake day in just a few days, it was the perfect excuse to stock up on a short stack covered in Nutella!
There has definitely been a few moments this week where I have felt very home sick. I think because I was due to fly back to NZ last night but have decided to stick around because there have been so many great auditions. Which is so exciting. I do miss home though. My good friend Katie and I went and saw The Vow, this is probably the reason I was a tad emotional. I loved the movie. I was either crying or laughing through most of the movie ha ha. Have you seen it?
In very exciting news, One Direction are making their way to New Zealand!! And if you haven’t already seen it, the video we made to Call Me Maybe has been released! I only feature once but had such a blast filming it. What do you think?
If you haven’t already, pretty please vote for me in the TV Guide Awards – thank you for your support.
Lots of Love
Kimberley xx
