Hotties of the Week: One Direction
As they make their way around America on their first US tour, we can’t help but fall in the love with the five gorgeous boys that are One Direction.
Already mentioning that New Zealand is in their tour plans, it is about time we get to know this band with a special edition of Hottie of the Week – five facts for each of the five boys. Tell us who your fave is and why!
Harry
1. Harry Edward Styles was born on 1st February 1994 turning 18 just the other day. He was born in Cheshire in the UK.
2. Before One Direction, Harry was the lead singer for a band White Eskimo who played for weddings!
3. He recently just broke up with 32 year-old Caroline Flack making him SINGLE ladies!!
4. Harry lives with fellow band member Louis and considers the boys like brothers. Rumour has it, he was the one that named the band.
5. He is dubbed the ‘posh’ one of the band due to his strong accent and ‘grandfather’ type attire. Those blazers and knits are what we love!
Niall
1. Niall James Horon was born on the 13th of September 1993 making him 18 years old. His hometown is Mullinger, Ireland.
2. His idol is Michael Buble whom he met on set of the X-Factor. Both Michael and Niall were introduced to music by their fathers.
3. He just got fitted with a braces to fix his uneven teeth. He dislikes not being able to eat sweets anymore
4. Niall’s favourite movie is Grease, favourite colour is blue and celeb crush is Cheryl Cole.
5. He is SINGLE! Whilst he says he isn’t avidly searching, he believes if the right girl came along he would be happy to get in a relationship...and yes he would date a fan!
Louis
1. Louis William Tomlinson was born on the 24th of December 1991 making him 20 years old and the oldest of the bands members. He was born in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
2. He is rarely seen without a striped t-shirt and chinos on stating that these are his go-to fashion items.
3. He is the joker of the band, always showing of his performance art background and different voices.
4. If he wasn’t singing, he would be a drama teacher.
5. Louis is dating model Eleanor Calder and people believe they are like a married couple. He prides himself on being a good boyfriend.
Zayn
1. Zayn Javadd Malik was born on 12th January 1993 making him 19 years old. He was born in Bradford, UK.
2. His idols are Chris Brown and Justin Timberlake whilst his girl crush is Megan Fox. He loves brunettes.In the band he is known as the poser and takes the longest to get ready.
3. He is always in front of the mirror.
4. Zayn is also known as the bad boy of the group and the rebel but comes off as shy....the hidden bad boy! Sounds intriguing.
5. He is SINGLE! After dating fellow X-Factor contestant Rebecca Ferguson for a few months he has no parted with her and is enjoying being single.
Liam
1. Liam James Payne was born on the 29th of August 1993 making him 18 years old. He was born in Wolverhampton, UK.
2. He loves all three of the Toy Story movies and his celeb crush is Leona Lewis.
3. In the band he as known as the serious one, always making sure the boys are on time and tidy.
4. Liam straightens his hair! Normally he has curly hair much like Harry’s but after straightening it, it comes out like Justin Bieber’s – a comparison he is happy to take!
5. He is dating Danielle Peazer who was mentioned in the bands CD booklet. The boys love her and so do the fans!
