Blog Central: Happy New Year!
Hi everyone, Happy New Year! I hope you have all had an awesome summer so far.
I saw the New Year in at Gisborne for the Rhythem and Vines Festival, which was amazing. I LOVED seeing Moby perform live. I remember being about 10years old and dancing around my room to his album Play - so being only a few metres away from him was a really surreal experience.
Empire of the Sun were also pretty cool! You know their video clip for Walking on a Dream? They wore crazy outfits just like they did in that clip. So they were a bit weird, but definitely awesome to see them live.
After New Years I spent about a week up north at a place called Whananaki. It has to be my favourite spot in the world! There is a gorgeous campground there that is situated right on the beach. All the campsites are pretty secluded as well, seperated over rolling hills. It's honestly picture perfect - I'd love to retire there (even though that is a long way off yet...)!

Shoal Beach it is on the east coast of the north island and has the nicest beach and is also not very busy it is just awsum!!
