Blog Central: First Week Back
Okay, so I've officially been back at uni for three days and I already feel like I've been back there for at least a month.
My life has suddenly become intensely busy and my brain has (unfortunately) switched from summer mode to study mode. Arrh!
It's not all bad, though. After nearly 4months off I am really enjoying hearing French every day again. The first lecture I had in French was intense - I found it so hard to concentrate and understand! But now my brain has finally caught up. Sometimes when I come straight out of a lecture I have to be careful not to babble in French to my friends!
The highlight of this week would have to be seeing Alice in Wonderland. Becca and I went along to the Disney & More FM advanced screening on Wednesday night. I had forgotten how much I loved a good fairy tale. It was also really exciting to see one of my favourite childhood stories remade into this amazing 3D experience. I would definitely recommend seeing it! Although if you're going to Imax, try getting a seat up back. We arrived a few minutes late (whoops, my fault, came straight from uni) so had to sit in the very front row! I was so dizzy after the movie! But I loved it all the same.
