Want luscious, thick lashes? Check out some of our favourite mascaras on the market, as well as our tips for keeping your lashes naturally healthy and long.

Maybelline Pulse Perfection Vibrating Mascara

Fake lashes are perfect to use if you want some extra volume that mascara simply cannot provide. They are great for big occasions such as school balls or special parties. You can find them in most chemists or beauty shops – we love the range from QVS as they are affordable and easy to use!

Looking after your lashes
It may be good luck to make a wish on a fallen lash, but no matter how much luck you need it’s not good if all your lashes start to fall out! However, this can happen if you don’t take care of them properly.

To ensure that your lashes remain thick, healthy and gorgeous, always remember to:

* Wash your eye-make-up off every night, using a gentle make-up remover especially designed for the eyes.

* Avoid rubbing your eyes constantly

* Don’t play or pull at your eyelashes when they have mascara on them – when they are coated they are more likely to fall out

* Try not to wear mascara once or twice a week to give your lashes a rest

* Make sure that you replace your mascara once every three months (at least!) Old mascara can cause all sorts of nasty eye infections so it’s best to keep it fresh.
