Concert Review: Lady Gaga
Where do I even begin! Firstly with a 5/5 rating. The concert had everything you could ask for and more.
The costumes were amazing. And the changes were so fast I have to wonder how many people she would need backstage to make such dramatic changes in such a short space of time. My favourite outfit was this amazing white dress that she wore for Bad Romance. It is probably the only Lady Gaga “costume” I have ever considered actually owning and wearing day to day – I loved it! If you are in to fashion then this is one concert that has it all, from glamour to punk rock to just plain skin coulor underwear! The only constant through out the show was a long orange wig. Everything else transformed multiple times in the almost three hour spectacular.
I have always wanted to be a back up dancer and after seeing the show tonight I can hands down say that the dancing I saw this evening was the BEST dancing I have ever seen in my life! I was blown away by the speed and precision and energy of all of the talented cast – wow! Especially compared to the dancing I was doing in my seat ha ha.
This was the third concert Lady Gaga I have been to and by far the best. I loved the others but this one had something else. I think the key point of difference was the talking between songs. Gaga took a long time to really get some key messages across to the audience and I really felt like her message resonated with the entire crowd. She spoke about the importance of friendship and how we often expect a lot from our friends and that we should. She spoke about only having one life and learning to live it and the strongest message was about the realisation of how powerful we all are, and that nothing can stand in the way of what we believe in and to value love and be compassionate. She is such an inspiration and on top of all that MAN SHE CAN SING!
LADY GAGA IS SUPER TALENTED – I know we all know that, but seeing and hearing it only a few meters away from you really cements that fact in. Her voice is so powerful and delicate at the same time, I got goose bumps multiple ties throughout the show!! And on top of that she plays a number of different instruments, chats to the audience, dances and is awesome at the same time! Wow! I feel exhausted and I only watched the show.

The buzz after the show was energetic and chatty. I think that is what Gaga does well, through her music and creativity she sparks conversations and gets people talking about different things she spoke about or sung about.
Gaga also made lots of references to New Zealand throughout the show which caused a huge applause from the crowd every time!
There are still limited tickets available for the show and if you can I thoroughly recommend you do go and see it. Book at Ticketmaster.
