Beauty: Pure Fiji Dilo Rescue Gel

I have a deep obsession with this product; honestly…just ask my flatmates!

It is the only cosmetic manufacturing company in the South Pacific, using premium natural ingredients like coconut, sugar cane, nut oil and honey. Not only do they make amazing products, they also support several villages, fund schools, health care, nutrition, and basic infrastructure for hundreds of people in rural Fiji!

The Pure Fiji Dilo Rescue Gel is one of my many favourites from the brand; it is made from The Sacred Dilo Tree which is known as ‘the tree of a thousand virtues.’ The Dilo oil is cold pressed and contains a unique essential fatty acid that soothes irritation and inflammation whilst speeding up the healing and repair process.

The dilo gel soothes irritation and pain so I use mine for anything and everything…scratches, pimples, shaving irritation, sunburn, itchy bites etc. Just pump it directly into your hand and massage into your skin. For skin imperfections on my face I pump a small amount onto a cotton bud and place on the blemish and let it absorb itself, you don’t want to be using your fingers on your face unless they are clean as your fingers carry a lot of bacteria and you can make pimples worse by touching them.

Dilo rescue gel comes in two sizes, 59ml and 235ml. I find that the smaller size is perfect as I can easily take it in my handbag. Check the Pure Fiji website for prices and stockists.
