Beauty: Kimberley Photoshoot 2011
For all make-up looks make-up artist Tanya Barlow began with a base of foundation, eye liner and some false eyelashes.
Everything was then built on from there. Kimberley’s hair started out natural.
Here are all the make-up details:
Girl Next DoorTanya added a bit more eyeliner to darken the eyes with some pale pink gloss, and kept the hair very natural.
Pretty PrincessTanya kept pink gloss and added some white eye shadow to open up Kimberley’s eyes leaving the main focus on the gorgeous curls at bottom of her hair. Keeping the crown of her hair straight gave Kimberley the sweet 1920’s look. |
Grecian GoddessWe kept the au-natural theme giving emphasis to Kimberley’s natural features as well as the dress and shoes. Tanya worked to match the lip colour with the shoes, keeping a basic eyeliner and mascara for the eyes. Heavy curls were brushed out from the previous look to elongate them and provide a fuller look. |

Colour-BlockingTo colour-block with make-up, you have to be careful with how overboard you go. With this look, Tanya matched the eye shadow with Kimberley’s shoes and her lips with the dress; leaving the rest of the face plain as to not over-do it. Kimberley's hair was then straightened out, leaving a few waves at the bottom. |

Sultry SirenTo give Kimberley a gorgeous sultry look this was created by darkening Kimberley’s eyes with heavy shadow and eye liner and sultry tangy lip to match the dress and brighten her face. Hair was blow-waved and put into a side part to create a teased and edgy look. Leah Light added an electric blue nail polish with spotted minx features. |
Sport-ChicTanya got all creative with the hair, twisting a small portion of Kimberley’s hair at the front into a twisted swirl; after the hair was placed to the side parting once again. Make-up remained simple with dark liner and shadow and light plum gloss; with a foundation and powder base. Leah Light added a gold minx nail with fishnet features to create a stunning look. |
Diva FantasticWith a basic face, Kimberley’s eyes were lined with dark liner working to make the lips the focal point of this look. Applying a gold sticky gloss, Kimberley dipped her lips into a handful of gold glitter to provide this awesome effect. Hair was placed in a high ballerina bun with an attached hair piece. Leah Light’s gold minx nail completed this look perfectly. |
