Here are some fun fast facts about who I am and what I do
Kimberley Frances Crossman
I am both a host and an actress. I recently finished working on Shortland Street as the character Sophie McKay. I began working on Shortland Street in 2006.
Since Shortland Street I have also filmed a lead role in two American TV series and a music video. These will all be released in 2012 so watch this space!
I am also currently the Entertainment Reporter on TV2’s The Erin Simpson Show and I present for Nickelodeon NZ.
I attended Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland, New Zealand where I was the Deputy Head Girl in 2006. I loved school and was very involved in the Arts. I also went to AYA (Aspiring Young Actors) Drama school in the weekends. Since leaving school I have been continuing my learning with weekly acting classes in Auckland and whilst in Los Angeles I take classes in Drama and Comedy.
I love dancing and cheerleading. My mum is a ballet teacher and I have been dancing since I was 2 ½. I continued to train in ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap and contemporary throughout my life. I have always had a passion for dancing and love participating in workshops. Some of the most amazing experiences I’ve had included participating in intensive workshops with Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga, Pussycat Dolls and Justin Timberlake’s dancers. I was also a part of the Royal New Zealand Ballet Companies performance of Giselle. I am also passionate about Cheerleading. I have represented New Zealand in competitions in Australia and America.
